First Doctor’s Appointment

Autumn had her first check up at the pediatrician a week after she was born, and got a clean bill of health! She impressed everyone with her awesome weight gain. She weighed in at 7 lb 8 oz, which is 4 oz up from her birth weight! At one week old, babies aren’t even expected to be back at their birth weight yet, so the fact that she was already past her birth weight blew everyone away! So much so that we got the okay to skip the 2-week appointment, because the doc was so satisfied with her growth. She’s in the 47th percentile for weight, and at 21”, is in the 97th percentile for length. Just like her brother, she’s a string bean!
