A New Skill

It’s always crazy to see how suddenly babies acquire new skills! We had a rough day on Saturday this last weekend, during which Autumn wouldn’t nap more than 30 minutes at a time, and took forever to fall asleep and was just generally a fuss bucket. We wondered at the time if maybe she was in a “mental leap.” Well, come Sunday, she had a new skill! She’s been grasping onto toys for a couple weeks, but suddenly she can do it quickly and seemingly more intentionally, bringing toys to her mouth to suck on and watching them as she swings them about. She’s also grasping onto larger toys with both hands. Way to go, baby girl!
