First Fourth of July

Autumn had a great first 4th of July! We braved taking her with us to our annual tradition of watching the Colorado Rapids soccer game and fireworks show, even though it meant being out way past her bedtime. We assumed she’d sleep most of the time we were there, and worried she might get really fussy and have a hard time sleeping with all of the lights and noise... well boy did she prove us wrong! She was actually happily awake for all but a 30 min snooze she peacefully fell asleep for at halftime. She was such a little trooper!! And, best of all, she loved the fireworks! We put noise dampening headphones on her to protect her little ears, and she was just entranced watching them! We had to leave shortly after the fireworks began because her big brother did not share her affection for them, but she watched the show over my shoulder the whole way to the car. Happy 4th little buggy!
