3 Months

This little munchkin is somehow 3 months old already!!

I know it's super cliche, but we just can't fathom how fast time is flying.  The fact that this little one is officially no longer a newborn seems impossible. While it's a blessing that her schedule is becoming more regular, and she is sleeping through the night (!!), I still also miss the newborn phase.  It went by so much quicker this time around!!

The past month has been delightful.  Autumn is just the sweetest, happiest, easiest baby.  She fusses when she's hungry or tired or wet, and that's about it.  She goes to sleep for naps and bedtime SO quickly and easily (especially compared to her big brother, with whom we would spend hours trying to get him to go to sleep).  She is always a trooper during our many outings, although she is finding it harder and harder to sleep through being schlepped around.  She has found her voice and loves to "talk" and coo at us.  She smiles a ton, and we have started to see the very beginnings of her first real laughs! She has started to be able to grip onto toys, and surprised me one day by grabbing the toy I was holding out of my hand when I wasn't paying attention.  She is obsessed with her big brother, and when he is around, she will watch him and everything he is doing intently.  Mama and Dada went out for the first time without the babies to see a concert at Red Rocks, and Autumn did great for Grandma and Dennis, taking a bottle like a champ and being just as easy as she always is.

I feel extremely lucky and grateful that I've been able to spend the entirety of the first three months of her life with her.  It was worth the missing paychecks!! I go back to work next week - but only for a week and then I'm off again for summer vacation!! Two more months with my sweet girl.
