Mother’s Day 2018

Mother’s Day this year was a lovely, low-key day, just the way I like it. The day started off with a delicious brunch at the Boulder Chophouse with the whole fam, and was followed up by some “Mommy-time,” during which I got to sneak away with Jo to do some bouldering at the new climbing gym in town, followed by a tasty beer on the Shoes and Brews patio. 

Being a Mom of Two has been everything I hoped for and more!! I love my two munchkins and love that they love each other (so far). It has been fantastic being home with them for an extended period of time, and I’m so glad I still have a couple of months with them before I go back to work! And I have to give credit where credit is due and recognize my own mother for helping make the transition from one kid to two feel like a breese thanks to her constant help and support. I might be singing a different tune if it weren’t for her! 

I failed to take any good Mother’s Day pictures with my babies, but here is sweet Autumn sleeping through brunch:
